A Baby's Cry
A Baby's Cry
By Pastor John Anderson
By Pastor John Anderson
A Baby’s cry, a bed of hay
A mother’s sigh that blessed day
When Jesus Christ was born
A star above in heaven glows
A Gift of love is sent below
On that most glorious morn
From fields the shepherds came
To see the sacred Child
They breathe His holy name
So pure and undefiled
A Baby’s cry, a bed of hay
A mother’s sigh that blessed day
When Jesus Christ was born
So dark the night when Jesus came
To live a life of scorn and shame
He came to die for us
Amazing love that He would come
From far above, God’s only Son
The King of righteousness
From fields the shepherds came
To see the sacred Child
They breathe His holy name
So pure and undefiled
Baby’s cry, a bed of hay
A mother’s sigh that blessed day
When Jesus Christ was born
