Mentone SDA Homeschool Co-Op

The purpose of the Mentone Seventh-day Adventist Homeschool Co-op is to provide educational support to homeschooling families of the Mentone SDA Church and community. Educational support is provided through curricular classes (i.e. writing, science, math), extracurricular classes (i.e. sewing, cooking, gardening. music), educational field trips as well as providing access to educational resources and advice. Above all making our Savior the center of everything we do, and training up our children in the way they should go.

The Mentone Seventh-day Adventist Homeschool Co-op is a co-op, which means that all participants will be cooperating/working together. Families enrolled are therefore required to be involved and contribute in some form to the program.

The co-op will operate on Tuesdays. Participation will only be open to those parents who have enrolled in the program. The hours (subject to change) are from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Two 6 weeks sessions will run per semester with 5 weeks of instruction and one field-trip per session. Field trips and service activities will be made available as opportunities arise on days other than Tuesdays.
