The Babe of Bethlehem

He came to earth as a Baby

 He came to earth to save us from sin

The King Who left His crown

 His throne when He came down

Jesus Christ our Lord, the Babe of Bethlehem

Lying in the hay with sheep and oxen near

 Shepherds came to worship Him

Mary holds her Babe, the precious Savior dear

 Jesus Christ the Babe of Bethlehem

He left His home above

 To show us Heaven’s love
