The Chariot Is On Its Way
Elijah fled from Jezebel
He never felt so low
His faith was gone he stumbled on
He knew not where to go
Tired and weak he tried to proceed
And then he stopped and cried
“It’s no use Lord, I can’t go no more
I might as well just die.”
The chariot is on its way, Elijah
The chariot is on its way
Hold on a little longer
Be just a little stronger
The chariot is on its way
The chariot is on its way Elijah
The chariot is on its way
Its fiery wheels are blazin’
It’s bound for that sweet haven
The chariot is on its way
The chariot is on its way, on its way
The chariot is on its way, on its way
